Cash Advance Items (non funeral home charges – but items you may wish to include and that we can help you with):
- Death Certificate. Muskegon County is $20 for the first one and $10 for each additional. Ottawa County is $15 for the first one and $6 for each additional.
- Cemetery Expenses, including grave space and opening and closing of the grave. Charges depend upon the cemetery chosen.
- Honorarium for the Minister
- Newspaper Obituary Charge – We will help you write it and make sure it gets to the paper of your choice. Most papers will charge for the obituary and usually their costs depend upon the length. Keep in mind, there is no additional charge for an obituary on our website even if you add a picture.
- Soloist – We have the ability to play CD music of your choice at no additional fee.
- Luncheon – We can help arrange this for you but usually a location charge and/or per plate fee is assessed.
