Alaina Kay Skidmore's Obituary
Alaina Skidmore age 62, was born on March 21, 1964, in Muskegon, Michigan and passed away on May 17, 2026. Alaina was preceded in death by her father, Norman Anderson and her brother, Brian Anderson. Survivors include her mother, Anita Anderson; husband of nearly 35 years, Bruce; children, Alex (Kristi) Farwig; Allison Skidmore, fiancé David MacFadyen, Amanda (Brenden) Gibbs; and Adam Skidmore; three grandchildren, Annabel Farwig, Avery Farwig and Cobi MacFadyen. Alaina was the owner operator of Great Day Child Care. She will be fondly remembered by all of the lives she touched including the monthly Girls Night Out with her best friends from high school.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life Gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with medical expenses at the following GoFundMe link https://gofund.me/76ac31d3f
