Albert C. Humphrey's Obituary
Albert Charles Humphrey, age 93 was born on August 24, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Al and Hannah (Korth) Humphrey and passed away at Heartwood Lodge in Grand Haven on October 2, 2021. Al is survived by his wife of 71 years, Virginia Humphrey; children, Craig (Jennifer) Humphrey, Lynn Gabris, Kevin (Kathy) Humphrey; grandchildren, Jenny (Chris) Mandt, Bob Sandore, Ryan (Leah) Humphrey, CJ (Karen) Humphrey, Ricky (Laurita) Humphrey, Meagan (Branden) Vetter, Monica Humphrey, Tiffany Emerson, Dana Humphrey, Hannah Gabris, Gaylynn (Eric) Anderson, Brandi (Jake) DeGram, Kayla Seekins, Brett Seekins; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Kurt (Carol) Humphrey. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce, and Bonney Humphrey in 2002; and siblings, Lorraine Harting, Ronald Humphrey, and Joanne Whittemore.
He was retired from American Coil Spring. Albert and Virginia are long time members of Trinity Lutheran Church, 3225 Roosevelt Road in Muskegon where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Appold officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest in the Resurrection Garden at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
