Alejandro "Alex" Olivarez, Jr.'s Obituary
Alejandro "Alex" Olivarez Jr. age 75 was born on May 9, 1945 in Laredo, Texas to the late Alejandro and Rosenda (Martinez) Olivarez Sr. and passed away on November 19, 2020. Alex is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dolores Olivarez; three daughters, Criselda (Mike) Muscato, Angelita (Steven) Archer, and Raquel (Gregorio) Garcia; six grandchildren, Reanna (Chris) Pena, Alexis Archer, Gregorio Garcia, Sebastian Archer, Angelo Muscato, and Lorenzo Garcia; great-granddaughter, Raven Pena; eleven siblings, several nieces and nephews, along with being a Padrino to many. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother. Alex was an owner of Oceana Drywall for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, at their school events, sporting events and the rodeo. Alex has been a lifelong communicant while attending St. Jeans the Baptiste, and currently at St. Marys Catholic Church in Muskegon. Alex is a 4th Degree, and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, San Juan Bautista Council #9802. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Mass of Christian Burial will be private. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Muskegon. Flowers welcome or memorial contributions may be directed to the Knights of Columbus Council #9802.
