Alice J. Mingle's Obituary
Alice Jessie Mingle, age 93, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. She was born in Muskegon on May 13, 1928, to Paul and Stella Bayer. Alice is survived by her 4 children, Sharon Hopton of Coopersville, Gregory (Kelli) Mingle of Whitehall, Nancy (Michael) Bates of Arroyo Grande, CA and Brian Mingle of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 65 years, Billy Mingle in 2017; 5 sisters and a brother.
Alice had worked at the Norge and later was employed at SD Warren for 25 years. She was a member of the Seniors of North Muskegon where they played BINGO. Alice enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling, especially to Alaska. She also enjoyed going to garage sales.
