Andrew D. Weaver's Obituary
Andrew Dean Weaver passed away with family by his side on January 25, 2020. A longtime resident of the Lakeside neighborhood, Andrew attended Muskegon High School and was a proud member of the 1986 Big Reds state championship football team. After school, he made his career at Cannon Muskegon Corporation. Andrew was an avid fisherman, having taught many friends and relatives the best spots and how to land a keeper. He loved animals and enjoyed training, walking, and hunting with his dogs. He was a fan of Detroit sports, in good times and bad, and could reliably be found watching football on Sunday afternoons. Andrew had a great laugh and was usually found at the center of the fun, and he never let you leave without encouraging you to watch your bobber. A fixture at the Lakeside Eagles for years, he is still the undisputed champion of the video bowling game.
Andrew leaves behind his wife, Carol Sibley-Weaver; his sisters Sherrie Sova, Kristi Harpe, Tiffanie Smith (James), and Kelley Chandler (Jeff); his best friend and partner in crime Tom Baldwin; many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews; and his beloved pets Lily and Hilton. He was preceded in death by parents Dorothy and Larry Weaver, his brother-in-law Craig Harpe, as well as his brother Jack Fielding.
There will a celebration of Andrew's life from 1:00-4:00 pm on February 15
th
at the Lakeside Eagles (2355 W. Sherman) and all are welcome to attend.
