Annette Marie Slee's Obituary
Annette Marie (Silka) Slee, aged 82, entered heaven to be with Jesus her Savior on November 8th, 2024, in Fruitport MI, where her daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Rob Liphard honorably cared for her for the past 9 years. Annette was born on March 31st, 1942, in Taylor MI. Annette spent twenty-five years working, retiring from Kmart in Midland, before transitioning to McDonald's Nursery Inc., where her love for retail & nature thrived. Annette was described as strong, loving, and incredibly patient. Annette cherished her family deeply. She enjoyed a slow pace, simple life like tea parties with her grandkids, playing cards, campfires, fishing, camping trips, sitting in the boat with Lloyd, photography, walks on the rails n' trails, grandpa's cookies, and mostly spending time with her family! She loved chocolate shakes and being outside in the sun. She was full of joy, singing, and strong hugs even through to the end of her life.
Annette is survived by a loving family, Sandra (Robin) Liphard, Andrew (Dana) Maier, Suzy (Bill) Croteau, Christine Slee, Darwin Slee, Debbie Hewitt, and Eric Slee. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to Erin (Morgan) MathisonSlee, and their son, Atticus Slee-Janski, Paula Williams, Wenona Blazer, Allison Slee, Katrina (Brandon) Ford, and their children Judah, Silas, Selah, and Lydia, Jusiah Liphard, Gabe Liphard, Brandon Maier, and his children, Isabella, and Bethany, Monica (Scott) Thompson, and their children Lucy, Hank, Tommy, Ben Croteau, Nick Croteau, Destiny Croteau, and Lexi (Eric) Morales, and their children, Aria, and Zali.
