Barbara Ann (Webber) Fessenden's Obituary
Barbara Ann (Webber) Fessenden was born on September 19, 1934 in Shelby, Michigan to the late Walter William Waldo Webber and the late Laura Anna (Cook) Webber and passed away at home under the loving care of her family on July 19, 2019. On August 8, 1952 she married Max Earnest Fessenden and he preceded her in death on August 12, 1992. Barbara is survived by two sons, Stuart Lee (Tracy) Fessenden and Dennis J (Kittie) Fessenden, Jacqueline Sells (David) Homann; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Norman (Valencia) Webber; close friends Marlene Hudson, and Cheryl Murphy-Hopkins, former daughters in law, Leslie Borgman and Carol Terwilliger. Along with her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by two children, Gregory Max Fessenden, Denise Lynn Corsi; siblings, Doris (Joseph) Bates, Harold "Mike" (Ruby Jane) Webber, Betty (Eugene) Campagna, and her twin sister, Phyllis Cook Webber. Barbara loved her family, friends and her faith. She was a superb cook who loved dice, playing cards, especially "chicken foot". She was retired from Howmet as a wax inspector. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. Barbara was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1215 E. Apple Ave. where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Alexander J. Koppel officiating. The family will meet with friends, also at the church one hour prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
