Barbara A. Stevens' Obituary
Barbara A. Stevens, at age 80, passed away into her Saviors arms on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 18, 1943, to the late Harold "Raymond" and Mary A. (Curtis) Logan. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 57 years, John Stevens, her son-in-law, David Kieft; and siblings, Betty McDonald, Dick (Dorothy) Stevens, Joan (Bill) Forsythe, Lenard (Mickey) Stevens, John Grooters Sr. and LeRoy Troxel. Survivors include her children; Lisa Stevens, Hope (Clifford) Tracy, and Amy Lesner; grandchildren, Yavonne Sisneros, Elena (Jose) Pacheco, Jessica and Kristina Kieft; great-grandchildren; Marco, Noelia, Diego, Valeria, Mauricio; Sisters, Luella Grooters and Linda Troxel; brother-in-law, Dell McDonald, and several nieces and nephews along with many close friends.
Barbara was always caring for others, helping with meals for young families, hosting guests at their Blue Country Bed & Breakfast to taking flowers to widows. She loved people and shared the peace of God and encouraged us continually.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, 4381 S. Sheridan Road, Muskegon with Pastor Scott Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Trinity Baptist Church ministries in her honor.
