Bernita Jean Jones' Obituary
Bernita "Nita"? Jean (McClees) Jones, a loving wife, mother, and dear friend was born in Mancelona, MI on April 20, 1936 was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 81 years of age, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Sanctuary at McAuley where she made many friends and loved playing Bingo and participated in many activities. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Milburn S. Jones; her parents, Lovell McClees and Mable Alice (Williams) McClees, their baby boy Frank, her sister Beverly McClees, a granddaughter, Elyse and son-in-law Bob Pillote. She is survived by her four children, Barb Pillote, Dennis (Luann) Jones, John Jones, Tim (Debbie) Jones; her grandchildren, Chelsea (Damiano) Baroncelli, Heather, Derek (Liz), Hillary, Ian (Liz), Aidan Jones, Megan Aspiranti, Erin (Will) Dobberstein, Morgan (Marshall) Wixom, and great grandchildren; Beatrice, Adelaide, and Catherine. She was a long-time member and servant at Trinity Baptist Church. It gave her great pleasure to spend time with her family and church family as well. She loved church potlucks and praying for family, church members and friends. She was a retired employee of Fruitport Community Schools. Internment took place, Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Restlawn Cemetery in Muskegon. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church 4381 S Sheridan Drive, Muskegon Pastor Scott Church, officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Baptist Church.
