Beverly Jean Zagers' Obituary
Beverly Jean Zagers age 92, was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 28, 1926 to the late Edward and Geneva Griswold and passed away on October 25, 2018. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Zagers; daughters, Joan Willacker, Barbara Walker; sons, Jim Willacker, Tom Willacker and Robert Willacker; siblings, Robert Griswold, Richard Griswold and Lillian Kittle. Beverly is survived by three children, Carol Stewart, Nancy Darby and John Willacker; grandchildren, Lisa Holmstrom, Bobbie Galion, Joanie Galion, Adam Darby, Jason Stewart, Laura Choffey, Chad Rodriguez, Jeff Darby and Kristen Stewart; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Barbara (John) Reigler; special friend, Frank Wayman. Beverly was retired from Quigley Draperies. She enjoyed playing cribbage, cards, and games at the Northside Senior Center and spending time with her family during the holidays. Beverly loved writing poetry and had two books published with her favorite works.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services Chapel, located at 816 S. Mears Ave. Whitehall, Michigan on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 12:00 noon.
Pastor Michael Riegler officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be next to her husband Edwin in Fruitland Township Cemetery.
