Billy G. Mingle's Obituary
Billy Gene Mingle, age 91, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. He was born on October 21, 1925 to Wilbur and Minnie Mingle in Crystal Valley, MI. Billy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice; four children, Sharon Hopton, Gregory Mingle, Nancy Bates and Brian Mingle. Billy was a grandfather to eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carma Stancroff. Billy worked for Teledyne Continental Motors for nearly 40 years and served his country in the US Navy during WW II in Iwo Jima. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In later years, he enjoyed his vegetable garden. Billy was a member of the Don Rea VFW Post 8846 in N. Muskegon where memorial contributions can be made in his name.
