Bruce A. Torgeson's Obituary
Bruce A. Torgeson, age 67, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, October 1, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore S. Torgeson, Jeane L. Torgeson, brother Theodore (Sandra) Torgeson, nephew Evan VanVaerenbergh. Survivors are Mary, daughters Marissa (Rodney) Smith, Tara E. Torgeson, sister Heidi VanVaerenbergh, grandchildren Greyson and Paisleigh Smith, nephew Brent (Monica) Torgeson, nieces Brooke (Rick) Artibee and Toni VanVaerenbergh.
Bruce was born in Muskegon on September 15, 1950 and graduated from North Muskegon High School. In earlier years he played hockey and was an avid golfer. Bruce was a salesman through and through working in sales during his lifetime. Bruce especially enjoyed having a good time, playing cards and will be missed for his quick wit and charming personality.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice, 100 Michigan Street N.E. Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503
