Carl Louis Crenno's Obituary
Carl L. "Carlie" Crenno, age 83 was born on December 30, 1940, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Louis and Ella Crenno and passed away on May 14, 2024. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean (Elmer) Boeve.
Survivors include his three children, Gerry (Sheila) Crenno, Cathy (Robert) Moblo, and Gregg (Rebecca) Crenno; two grandchildren, Laura Moblo, and Eric (Ashley) Moblo; two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Ellie; four siblings, Barbara Crenno, Gerald (Betty) Crenno, Avis Spira, and Renell Cashbaugh; ex-wife of 25 years, Barbara Hilton with whom he shared his three children; his life partner of 40 years, Linda Davignon and her children, Susan (Dan) Ek, Sandra Ferris, David (Shelly) Davignon and Albert (Jodi) Davignon; along with numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
Carlie was a retired brick mason, and then later retired from General Motors. He was a longtime member of the Eagles. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed snowmobiling, NASCAR camping, staying at his cabin in Ruby Creek, wintering in Florida and especially cooking while at deer camp.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Mona Lake Boat Club located at 372 Randall Road, Norton Shores, Michigan 49441 on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
