Carol D. (Dake) Hinkle's Obituary
Carol D. (Dake) Hinkle age 91, was born on December 31, 1922 in Fremont, Michigan to the late Roy J. and Anna M. (Henry) Parker and passed away at Hillcrest Nursing Home on June 27, 2014. Carol was preceded in death by two husbands, Jay F. Dake and Floyd A. Hinkle; grandson, James G. Barrett, III and her brother, Gordon R. Parker. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (James) Barrett and Sue Hinkle; grandchildren, Michael (Lena) Barrett, Kim (Tom) Watters, Pam (Jim) Rudicil, Brian (Sarah) Jones; 13 great grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Rinehart; sister in law, Becky Parker. Carol was a homemaker, avid seamstress, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in helping others. She had a positive attitude and was an inspiration to everyone. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and private family services have been held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Hillcrest Nursing Home Resident Activity Fund, 695 Mitzi, North Muskegon, Michigan 49445
