Carol Beatrice Kalman's Obituary
Carol B. Kalman age 67 was born on April 17, 1955, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late LaVern and LaReta (Merrit) Oudsema and passed away on August 4, 2022. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 10 years, John A. Kalman. Survivors include her son John; stepchildren, Jackie, and Jeremy; three siblings, Jim (Chris) Oudsema, of Lansing, Pat (Jim) Michael of Muskegon, and David Oudsema, of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Pam and Lisa.
Carol worked at Lumberman's Bank, then spent 25 years with the Cable Company and most recently, five years at McCormick's on Russell Road. She was a longtime member of the River Rats Euchre Club, and active volunteer for Relay for Life and United Way.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Fruitport Eagles, 3354 S. Dangl Road, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 1;00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a time of Memory Sharing starting at 2:00 p.m.
