Carol Ann Silvernail, age 85, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on October 8, 1936, to Doris and John Narowitz. A graduate of Muskegon Heights High School, she was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. She worked for several years at the Muskegon Chronicle, where she met her husband, Dan. Dan and Carol were married on August 15, 1981 and resided in Roosevelt Park, Michigan. Carol was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Muskegon. Known to her friends as "Sugar", she always had a kind word for those around her. She was welcoming to strangers and would make new friends wherever she went. Carol enjoyed her time with her dear "club" friends for over 50 years. She loved music, particularly big band and polka music. A wonderful dancer, she spent time as a dance instructor in her younger years. She and Dan had many fond memories of trips with family and with close friends, "Teener" and Tom and Bea and Gene. Above all else, she especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was the best wife, mom, and Grammy in the world and had a heart of gold! She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
