Carole Marie Woodland's Obituary
Carole Marie Woodland, age 82 was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on June 29, 1938 and passed away on May 24, 2021. Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Woodland; and two brothers, Bob, and Rick Welch. She is survived by her children, Donald (Elsie) Shomin, Kenneth (Carroll) Shomin, Mike (Linda) Shomin, James (Cherry) Shomin, Pam (Jesse) Flores, Tom (Beth) Woodland, Ken (Paula) Woodland, Jeff Woodland, Cheryl (Larry) Amstutz, Steve (Lisa) Woodland, Craig Woodland; numerous grand- great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; sibilings, Jim Welch and Rosemary Mayer; several nieces and nephews. Carole owned the Glass Hat Lounge, Mr. Al's BBQ, and R & R Tavern in LaFeria, Texas. She especially loved spending time with her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Shoreline Memorial Services, Whitehall Chapel at 3:00 p.m. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be next to her husband Gerald in Oakland Cemetery, in Dalton Township.
