Charles Ernest Rumppe's Obituary
Charles E. Rumppe, age 40 of Muskegon, Michigan was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 3, 1983, and passed away at home on Easter morning, March 31, 2024. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Raymond E. Rumppe Sr., and a brother, Raymond E. Rumppe Jr. Survivors include his mother, Linda L. Rumppe; siblings, Marnie (Brian) Kelley, RayAnn (Anthony) Leonard, and Ryan Rumppe; four nieces and nephews, Cecilia, Theresa, Richard, and Jack; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In his free time, Charles was an avid community volunteer and activist. He was a longtime Chicago White Sox season ticket holder. Charles was a member of the First Luthera Church of the Trinity in Chicago and the Church of God United, located at 1630 Harvey Street in Muskegon where a Service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow at the Bear Lake Tavern 360 Ruddiman Drive, Muskegon, Michigan from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life Gathering in Illinois will follow on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the Bremen VFW Post 2791 located at 17147 Oak Park Ave. Trinity Park, Illinois 60477 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to the National Scoliosis Foundation in Charles name.
