Cheryl L. Shane age 75 was born on April 28, 1946, and passed away on October 26, 2021. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 56 years, Douglas Shane; children, David (Debby) Shane; grandchildren, Ashley (Tom Melin) Shane, Chelsea Shane, Zack Shane, Ben Shane, Josh Shane; great-granddaughter, Aubree Melin; daughter-in-law, Terri Shane; siblings, Patricia Jackson, James (Annette) Coburn, Samuel (Becky) Coburn; in-laws, Marcia (Chuck) Wells, Cindy (Jack) Samples, Pam (Terry) Veach; sister-in-law, Elaine Coburn; several nieces and nephews. Cheryl was preceded In death by her parents, Clyde and Henrietta Coburn; her son, Douglas M. Shane; siblings, Helen (Tom) Dickson; Bill Coburn, and sister-in-law, Camille Coburn.
Cheryl was retired from the State of Michigan after 25 years of service. Cremation has taken place and private services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
