Christopher Robert Thornton's Obituary
Christopher Robert Thornton, age 46, was born on April 12, 1972 and on March 9, 2019 he ran into the arms of Jesus. He is survived by his wife, Stacy (Jackson) Thornton; parents, James and Patricia Thornton; children, Christopher James Earl (Paige) Thornton: step children, Tyler, Katelyn, Nate; grandchildren, Annabelle Thornton, Kenzington Thornton; sister, Shanon (Bill) Rederstorf; brothers, Anthony (Michelle) Thornton, Joseph (Brenda) Thornton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Gertrude Thornton and Doit and Betty Cross; nephew, Eric Rederstorf.
Christopher was a rambunctious child. He ran full tilt into everything and wasn't afraid to try new things. He loved mystery, humor and his family. He was always a true friend who would give you his last dime, even if it meant starving. As an adult he worked construction as a roofer and sider. He always gave everything his best.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cedar Creek Alliance Chapel, 7193 Sweeter Road in Twin Lake on Saturday April 13 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
