Clarence V. Marvin's Obituary
Clarence V. Marvin age 89 was born on August 3, 1932, and passed away on September 29, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Marvin; children, Kelly (Terry) Ramthun and Sharon Music; step children, Jeff Wiersma, Anita (Craig) Greeno, Amy (Curt) Wright, and Joe (Mutinta) Mulder; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Clarence was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Malenfant; son Jon Marvin; and son-in-law, Tim Music.
He was retired from Lift-tech where he worked for 39 years. Clarence loved to garden, take walks, bicycle, play cards and spend time at his hobby farm. Later in life he enjoyed many winters in Arizona where he continued to do those things he loved, minus the snow.
A memorial service will be held at the Marvin home at 6767 Durham Road, Whitehall, Michigan on Sunday, October 10, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with music, a light lunch and sharing of memories. Bring a lawn chair, carpool if possible. Watch for parking signs in the neighborhood.
