Clarence E. TerBorg's Obituary
Clarence Eugene TerBorg, age 80, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was born in Muskegon on December 5, 1942, to Clarence and Martha TerBorg. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Claire; 2 daughters, Michelle Spencer of Muskegon and Cynthia TerBorg of Fremont; 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Jason, Justin and Kyle; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carla Bratsburg of Muskegon and Nancy (John) Fierstien of Texas; 2 nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Carl Sircher; son-in-law, Vincent Spencer and brother-in-law, Greg Bratsburg.
He had worked at S.D. Warren (Sappi) in Muskegon for many years. Clarence was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling, horse shoeing, traveling, fishing and "saving the world' with his coffee clutch friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3225 Roosevelt Road in Muskegon. Visitation will be held an hour before service time at the church. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
