Claud Alvin Barrett's Obituary
Claud Alvin Barrett, 82, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. Born on September 8, 1943, in Muskegon, Claud worked as a Millwright for 47 years and retired in 2010. Claud was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He loved music and watching a good western. He will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, and his love for God and family. He is survived by three sons, Mikeal (Jacqueline), Douglas, and Fred Barrett, and one daughter, Rose (Brian) Edgerton, all from Western Michigan, and 14 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 1 great, great granddaughter, and 1 brother, John (Mary) Barrett and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lula Barrett, three sisters and one brother, grandson, Kyle Barrett, and daughter, Cyndi Barrett. A memorial will be held on May 15, 1 pm at Calvary Church, 213 Oak St. Fruitport.
