Corrine F. Funnell's Obituary
Corrine Florence Funnell, 86, of Blue Lake Township, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family. Corrine was born September 27, 1927, in Muskegon (Lakeside), Michigan, to William "Art"? and Florence (Mosher) Langston. She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Salter, and husbands Kenneth "Bud"? Salter, Neil DeRochey, and Garfield "Gar"? Funnell. Corrine spent 20-plus years as a pioneer in Wasilla, Alaska. She spent winters at her home in Mesa, AZ. She was a spunky and adventurous woman who always told it like it was and loved her family dearly.Survivors include eight children: Gary Salter of Blue Lake Township; Steven (Leslie) Salter of Whitehall; Neil DeRochey of Hesperia; John (Jo Ann) DeRochey, Desty (Geralyn) DeRochey, and Darcy (Mark) Cunningham, all of Holland; Rocke (Pam) DeRochey of Monett, MO; and Tammie (Tricia) DeRochey of Mesa, AZ; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends scattered across the country and Canada.Per Corrine's wishes there will be no services. Her ashes will be scattered in her favorite places across the country. In lieu of flowers consider donations to Hospice of Michigan.
