Craig S. Foster's Obituary
Craig Steven Foster, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on December 13, 1961 to Byron and Beatrice Foster. Craig is survived by his children, Gene (Sheree) Foster of Ludington, Matthew (Keri) Foster of Ludington and Michelle (Joe) Miller of Ludington; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Katie Youman of Ludington, Eldon (Kris) Witter of Ohio, Laurie Pontz of Big Rapids, Lori (Don) McDonald of Missouri, Elizabeth Davidson of Bitely and Mary (Kurt) Olsen of Baldwin; sister-in-law, Marlene Dell of Ludington. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karen of 28 years; parents; step-mother, Mary Jane Foster and sister, Linda (Thomas) Witter.
Craig worked his earlier years as an oil rigger in Kansas, truck driver, volunteer fire fighter and DJ. He loved to work on small engines and computers. His passion was tractor racing "Zoo Crew Redneck Racing". He loved to race them in his backyard. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing but mostly spending time with his family.
There will be a Celebration of life at Whalen Lake in Walhalla, Michigan on June 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Following the Celebration of Life, a potluck dinner will be held at the Grantsynn Cottage across from Craig's place. Memorial contributions can be made to the Custer VFW Post 5096, 2022 State St., Custer, MI 49405.
