Dale L. Baumgart's Obituary
Dale L. Baumgart, age 63 of Grand Haven passed away on April 4, 2014 at Heartwood Lodge. Dale retired in 2012 from Fairmount Minerals, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Sons of the American Legion. He loved tinkering in his "man cave"? garage, summers at Chinook Campground, trips to Mexico and Florida, casino runs, but most of all making people laugh. Dale will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 43 years, Melodee; children, Jaime Baumgart and special friend Eliot Dupuis, and Jason (Maria) Baumgart; grandchildren, Cameron, Brissia and Bianca Baumgart; his mother, Leona Baumgart, siblings, Ronald (Beth) Baumgart, Karen (Dan) Hildreth, Al (Chris) Baumgart, Larry Baumgart; sister-in-law, Beverly Faino; several nieces and nephews; many friends, and his buddies Max and Louie. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Baumgart; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Lenore Morse, and a brother-in-law, Bert Faino. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering in his honor will be held on Sunday, April 13th from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Grand Haven Eagles Aerie 925, upstairs at, 20 N. 2nd Street, in Grand Haven. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army in Grand Haven.
