Dale W. Peterson's Obituary
Dale W. Peterson went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was born in Rockford, IL on June 22, 1941 to C. Willard and Lois Peterson. He came to Muskegon in 1965, where he was employed by Muskegon Public Schools. He was also a self-employed irrigation contractor. He was an active member of Forest Park Covenant Church where he served in a variety of leadership positions locally and within the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination.On April 4, 1970, he married Jane (Zuidema) Peterson. Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Glenn (Bekah) Peterson of Strathmore, AB, Canada, Gregory (Shanelle) Peterson and Paul Peterson from Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Ella Joy, Soren James, Jonas Andrew; brother, C. Curtis (Marilyn) Peterson of Arlington Heights, IL. He will be greatly missed by Roger and Ginny Schutter (sister-in-law), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 14, 11 AM at Forest Park Covenant Church, 3815 Henry St. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to and also following the service.
