Daniel J. Balaskovitz's Obituary
Daniel John Balaskovitz, age 42, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wed, May 17, 2017. He was born on December 8, 1974 in Muskegon, Michigan to George J. Balaskovitz and Sharon A. (Gay) Walters. He attended Holton High School and later graduated from Penn Foster High School in 1995. He went on to attend Muskegon Community College where he earned an outstanding GPA. He was a certified welder, professional Blacksmith, and true artist.Daniel was a successful business man and owner of Skull Forge, LLC. In addition to donating the Peach Tree Sculpture found in Pomona Park located in Fruitport Township, he is well known for forging and gifting cross necklaces to share his faith. He remains with all of us through his works of art.He was a loving Husband, Caring Father, and Inspiring Brother. He is survived by his wife, Maggie; his daughters, Jaelyn and Danielle; brothers, Michael Balaskovitz (Norton Shores) and Steven Balaskovitz (Montague), and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mothers" Catherine Balaskovitz and Sharon Walters.
