Darlene J. Champoux's Obituary
Darlene June Champoux, age 75, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was born in Central Lake, Michigan on May 11, 1950 to Harley and Francis Zimmerman. Darlene is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim; 3 sons, James (Susan) Champoux, Jr, Mitch (Kenya) Champoux and Alan (Holly) Champoux; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly (Mars) Champoux-Lott, Joseph (Madeline) Champoux, Lucas Champoux, Morgan (Fisher) Pham, Jakoby Champoux, and Emily Champoux; sister, Marian Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Harley Jr and Don; 2 sisters, Arlene and Karen.
She had retired from Herman Miller and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church,1110 Dykstra Rd. in North Muskegon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time from 10 AM to 11 AM at the church.
Burial will be made at Fruitland Township Cemetery.
