Darrell D. Johnson's Obituary
Darrell D. Johnson ,60, of Muskegon, MI, passed away in the early morning of March 22, 2024, after a years long battle with prostate cancer.
Darrell was born in Grand Haven on July 17, 1963. He spent 30 plus years working as a successful auto salesman at several dealerships across west Michigan, ending his career at Best Buy Auto Sales in Grand Rapids.
In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt in his #3 Goodwrench Chevy. He loved his children and would always be in touch to check on them and be of help if needed. He loved his dog Bentley, had a passion for cooking and loved road trips with his family. A friendly person who always put others needs first, he was quick to bring peace and always found humor in everything.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Edward Johnson. He is survived by his mother Beverly Johnson; children Todd Johnson, Devon (Shelly) Johnson, Teasha Johnson, Matt (Michelle) Curtiss, Amber (Tyson) Schubert, Franklin Price, and Arial Price; grandchildren Oliver, Liam, and Ariah Seewald, and Lola Schubert; and close friend, Kathy Johnson.
Memorial donations can be made to Harbor Hospice for Muskegon. A memorial open house luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Montague Township Hall from 1pm to 5pm.
