Darwin LeRoy Cumings Sr.'s Obituary
Darwin LeRoy Cumings Sr. age 84, was born on August 24, 1939, and passed away at home on or around November 18, 2023. Darwin was born in Muskegon to the late Arthur and Ruth (Salisbury) Cumings. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon, siblings, Art, Ted, Fritz, Don, George and Dolly Mae. Survivors include his children, Dawn VanDongen, Richard Cumings, Darwin Cumings, Jr.; several grand and great-grandchildren; sisters, LaNore Deters and Carolynn Favreau.
Darwin was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and could fix anything- a jack of all trades. He lived his life on his terms and did what he wanted. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held.
