David Glenn Church's Obituary
With hearts rooted in faith and hope, we announce the passing of David Glenn Church Sr, age 77, of Muskegon MI, who was called home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2026.
Born on May 22, 1948, in Muskegon, Michigan, David lived a life grounded in faith, love, and service. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose guidance and support shaped the lives of his family in many ways. David trusted deeply in the promise of God and found joy in his family, Church, pets, woodworking projects and muscle cars.
David is survived by his devoted wife Patricia, children David (Mary), Lori (Mark), Derek-deceased (Shay), and Kristy (Steve), Andy (Jenny), Brothers Scott (Judy), Matt (Julie), Mark-deceased (Jackie), Sister Janet (Bob), and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. They will find peace in knowing that he now rests in eternal life reunited with loved ones who have gone before him. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Evelyn Church, his adopted mother, Dawn Irene Sondregger, brother Mark Church, and son Derek Church. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating David’s life will be held at 11:00 Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Bridge Bible Church, Dalton Campus, located at 3777 Holton Road. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bridge Bible Church Dalton Campus

Though we grieve his earthy absence, we rejoice in the promise of everlasting life and comfort knowing David now dwells in the presence of our savior.
