David John Pinder's Obituary
David J. Pinder, age 87 was born on November 18, 1934, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Walter and Edna Pinder and passed away at home on November 17, 2022. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three siblings, Martha (Jack) Dipple, Thomas (Louise) Pinder, and Rodger Pinder. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Connie Pinder; son, Mike (Bonnie) Pinder; grandchildren, Nathan and Eric.
David was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the United States Postal Services. He was a member of NARFE, and the Good Fellows. After retirement David became an RV traveler; traveling to Alaska, Florida, Texas and two RV barge trips that took him to the intercostal waters ending in New Orleans and the Tennessee River. He enjoyed belonging to the camping groups, the Coachmen Caravan and FCRV Seniors Campers.
David and Connie have been longtime members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located at 1006 3rd Street, Muskegon, Michigan where he served on the Vestry, was an usher, and great general assistant in the church kitchen. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in the columbarium at St. Paul's Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
