Dawn Eloa Wood's Obituary
Dawn Wood age 79, was born on October 30, 1946, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Floyd and Dorothy (Sherwood) Bishop Jr. and passed away on January 11, 2026. Dawn is survived by her husband of over 25 years, Thomas Wood; sister, Diane (Terry) White; two grandsons, Dusty and Zane Jones; sister-in-law, Diane Bishop; daughter-in-law, Brandy Jones; several nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Joleen Bishop, Shelley McBride and her canine companion, Sassy. Along with her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her son, Harold Craig Jones; stepfather, Joe Schuitema; and three siblings, Eugene Bishop, Sheryllee Swiftney, and Kevin Bishop.
A Funeral Service for Dawn will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon Ave. in Muskegon at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held, also at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Noah Project.
