Delores F. Houts' Obituary
Delores Houts, age 81, passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2022. She was born on January 18,1941 to Carl and Eleanor (Niemic) Forbes in Muskegon, Michigan. Delores worked hard at her job and took pride in the work she did as a finisher at Howmet for 20 years until her retirement in 1993. As a mother she was "selfless". There was absolutely no limit to her devotion to her family. She was a great cook and had many get togethers over the years, welcoming all who wanted to eat. She loved Knitting and Afghans were her specialty. She is survived by her children, Craig Houts, Randy Houts, Katrina (Scott) Thomas; daughter in law, Shannon Quinn (Houts); grandchildren, Cristal Fishburn, Nicole Houts, Lacey Dean, Sheldon Houts, Triston Houts, Buck Houts, Kiona Houts, Heath Thomas, Karly Thomas, Jessica Thomas, and many great grandchildren; brother, Ron Forbes and sister, Carol Stanhope. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Houts and her son, Todd Houts. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetary in Custer MI.
