I lived in the same apartments just a few doors down in the 70s. His older sister Nikki was my best friend and Ms Hope my mom’s friend. Desmond was that cute but annoying little brother always interrupting our 9yr old fun. Boy we loved him dearly . I didn’t get to know him in our adult lives but I’m glad to see he had a huge family that loved him as we did even as kids. My name is Shangla Hill-Hobson and I experienced the loss of my 2 daughters so I understand grief. I just pray that Ms Hope and everyone else are comforted in knowing one day you’ll see him again and may God be with you. He was the chosen angel to watch over you. Although I am very sorry for your loss.🙏🏾
