Dewey D. Phillips' Obituary
Dewey D. Phillips, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was born in Portland Oregon on July 24, 1930 to David and Nettie Phillips. Dewey is survived by his wife, LaWilda; children, Terry (Olga) Phillips, Dale (Dara) Phillips and Debbie Abbott; several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Mae Phillips in 2017. Dewey had worked as a plant engineer and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Covenant Community Church, 134 E. Barney, Muskegon Heights with the Rev. Miriam Bush officiating.
