Dicie L. Holmes' Obituary
Dicie Lucille Holmes, age 75, passed away on October 27, 2015. She was born in Dyersburg, TN on August 30, 1940 to William and Ethel Turnbow. Dicie is survived by her lifelong love and partner, Theodore W. Lutz; children, James R Leonard, Anthony (Rayann) Leonard, Linda M. (Bear) Alexander, Michael E. (Robin) LaFave; grandchildren, James R. (Sierra) Leonard, Jr., Kyrstel L. Leonard, Cecilia M. Valdez, Theresa M Evans, Richard A. Rumppe, Suzanne L. Leonard; great-grandchildren, Skye R. Sims, Marktwan Banks, Devon J. Leonard, Raymond E. Rumppe, Jackson A. Leonard; brothers and sisters, James D. Turnbow, Rhonda Coleman, Patty Turnbow, Chrissy Turnbow, Joyce Turnbow and many nieces and nephews; special friends, Pauline Helferich, Suzie Klowtyk, Barb Flowers, Rotten Raczok, Vicki (Tom) Larson, Debbie Koedyker, Sherry Mitchell and "Spaceman"?. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; daughter, Suzanne L. Leonard; brother, William (Barbara) Turnbow; great-great grandson, Me'khi Sims; special friend, Larry "Lightfoot"? (Judy) Wright, and her beloved "CoCo"?. Lee, as she was known by, loved life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, weekends at the river relaxing with a bottle of wine, and her little dog "Baby"? and Paul Bears annual concert "Bearfest"?. She loved her music and dancing and reading a good book. She couldn't resist a scary movie and BBQ's in the backyard. Shopping trips brightened her day, The Greeter there always lended a helping hand. She will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Family Bible Church, 1256 W. Broadway in Roosevelt Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. A luncheon to follow the service.
