Dilla Marie Burt's Obituary
Dilla Marie Burt, age 93, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 29, 2015. She was born in Jordan, KY December 30, 1921 to William and Vira (Howard) Kerley. Dilla is survived by her daughter, Tamara Beth Burt of Spring Lake; brother, Billy M. Kerley of Savannah, GA. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel R. Burt; husbands, Roy Leo Burt and James R. Tobaison. Dilla enjoyed the beauty of Spring Lake and was a loving, caring person who served and worshipped the Lord. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spring Lake, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #2326 and the Original Red Hat Foxy Ladies of Four Points. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Spring Lake, 118 E. Exchange St., with Pastor Hal Pearson officiating. Afterglow luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Dan Burt Memorial Wrestling Scholarship at Muskegon Community College.
