Don "Donnie" Stapel Jr.'s Obituary
Don "Donnie" Stapel Jr. age 59 was born on April 28, 1966, in Muskegon to Don A. Stapel Sr. and the late Connie Kiggins and passed away on August 17, 2025, after an extended struggle with his mental health. Don is survived by his son, Nik (Liz) Stapel; father, Don A. Stapel Sr, grandchildren, Abby and Torrie; siblings, Otto (Leann) Stapel, and Scott Kiggins. Along with his mother, Don was preceded in death by his stepfather, Roy Kiggins; Monte Kiggins, Dana Kiggins, Carrie Davis.
Don was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing. Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3167, located at 4535 N. Oceana Drive, Hart, Michigan 49420. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Friends of the Oceana Sheriff Department, 216 Lincoln Street, Hart, Michigan 49420
