Donald James Bayne Sr.'s Obituary
Donald James Bayne Sr. was born on May 4, 1943, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Wesley and Wesselena (Devriese) Bayne and went to be with his Lord on October 5, 2024, and surely heard from his Heavenly Father "well done my good and faithful servant."
Donald is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janettia Bayne; children, Donald (Karen) Bayne, Dora (Jack) Ruthkowski, Richard (Jill) Bayne, Leroy (Lisa) Bayne, Edward (Yvonna) Bayne; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, and nephews; siblings, Richard Bayne, Ronald Bayne, Marva Raymond, Jerry Messinger, and Linda Bollink. Along with his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Kay Bayne, and three siblings, Helen, William and Florence.
Donald was retired from Eagle Ottawa. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Friendship Wesleyan Church, 1761 North Roberts Road, Muskegon, Michigan 49445 with Pastor Chad Fessenden presiding. Visitation will be held, also at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Friendship Wesleyan Church or the American Cancer Society.
