Donald McLeod's Obituary
Skip went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 4:00 a.m. at home with his family.
He was born in Flint, Michigan and grew up in Flushing, Michigan and joined the Navy after high school. He then moved to South Boardman, Michigan with his family.
Skip is survived by his son Matthew (Christy) McLeod, of South Boardman; daughters, Rebecca (Jack) Priami, of Kalkaska and Mary (Chris) Sprague, of Midland; five grandchildren, Nate, Zak and Luke McLeod, Emily and Cullen Sprague; four brothers, Jimmy, Bob, David and Terry McLeod; a sister, Connie (John) Middleton of West Branch, Michigan. Special friends, Doug and Lunatta Carrier, Bob Borin, Blake Duram and Sherry Schrader; his church family at Black Creek Bible Church including, Pastor Larry (Marilyn) Bush whom he loved dearly.
He is also survived by his wife Marilyn and her daughter, Rhonda Segelstrom and the Segelstrom family. Skip was a home builder for nearly 50 years, an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the woods, camping and cooking on his grill. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A special appreciation and thank you for Life Circles for the great care they gave to him, and a very special thank you to Dr. Flick, a wonderful caring person.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Black Creek Bible Church, 2651 Heights Ravenna Road, in Muskegon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Black Creek Bible Church.
