Dons passion was helping others in any way he could. He most loved working with the VFW crew making pasties every month and was usually the first one there on those mornings getting the meat mixer set up. He loved doing carpentry work and enjoyed spending weekends at our camp which he designed and built. He also enjoyed fishing whenever he could and loved to go deer hunting. He always kept us laughing at his lame dad jokes and crazy sense of humor especially his story about Herbert the goat. Bryce will always remember him trying to cheat when he played "go fish" and he had his own board that he would spend hours playing solitaire on evyer day on the couch. One of his favorite thing was his flip phone which in the last few months he only used to tell the time. Everyone who knew him will have their own special story to tell and we could go on and on telling about his antics.
A Celebration of Life will be held sometime in the future with his family and friends at the LAnse VFW Post as he had requested.
