Doris E. Carlson's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Emily Carlson, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. She was born on March 14, 1922 to George and Helen (Beckman) Nelson and married Emil M. Carlson on December 10, 1949. Doris had worked at Anaconda Wire and Cable Company for 40 years before retiring. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Emil; siblings, Marvin (Shirley) Nelson of LeRoy, MI, Elaine Baker of Grand Rapids, Isabel Ochs and Jackie Spence, both of LeRoy, MI; sister-in-law, Sandra Carlson of Norton Shores; special friends, John and Rose Swinburne of Norton Shores. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Florence, Eleanor and Georgianna; brothers, Arvid, George, Norman and Douglas. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Inurnment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy VNS & Hospice.
