Douglas M. Herring's Obituary
Douglas Michael Herring, age 68, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019. He was born in Muskegon on December 11, 1950 to Douglas and Anna Herring. Doug is survived by his wife, Peggy; son, Mark (Carmen) Herring of Grand Rapids; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons and one grandson-in-law; sister, Carol Larson of Muskegon; brother, Ron (Cheryl) Herring of Fruitport, brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Gilda Goven of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Steve Herring.
Doug had worked as a maintenance tech for 28 years. He was a certified locksmith and member of Key Man Club and of Musicians International. Memorial contributions can be made to Shoreline Memorial Services to help the family with funeral expenses.
