Duane Albert Woirol Sr.'s Obituary
Duane A. Woirol Sr. "Dunk" age 76 passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. He was born in Grand Haven, Michigan on January 5, 1945, to the late Fred and Wilhelmina (Karel) Woirol. He married the love of his life, the former Janet "Penny" Lockard in 1965. They spent 29 years together until they were separated by her death in 1994. Duane was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked at Bastian Blessing as a welder before becoming an entrepreneur. He enjoyed spending his free time, golfing, hunting, and driving around looking for investment opportunities. You would often find him with the coffee clutch at Mr. Quick's. Duane is survived by his Children, Brenda (David Schuiteman) Neidlinger, of Muskegon, Teresa (Jeffrey) Langlois Sr., of Muskegon and Duane (Sharon) Woirol Jr., of Brohman; Grandchildren, Brandy (Cedric) Williams, Autumn (Joshua) Samuels, Brittaney (Devin) Brown, Jeffrey (Lauren) Langlois Jr., Duane Woirol III, and Samantha Woirol; Great Grandchildren, Parker, Brayden, Eli, Ethan, Kendrick, Jackson, Locklynn, Everlynn, Miles, and Rosalynn (due to arrive in September). He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Henry "Ed" Gagnon and siblings, Fred "Pepper" Woirol and Colleen Woirol. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held at the White Lake Eagles, 1204 S. Lake Street, Whitehall, Michigan on Sunday August 1, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
