Edwin W. Kessler's Obituary
Edwin W. Kessler, age 96 fell asleep in Jesus on October 28, 2024, at home under Hospice care. Ed was born November 4, 1927, in Claybanks Township, Oceana County, Michigan. He was born to Margaret Kessler and Walter F. Kessler. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Bernice (Cherp) Kessler and later, Coralee (Boone) Kessler. Edwin is survived by his daughter Dana (Ken) Arends, Martin (Mari) Hughes; grandchildren, Jason Arends, Tiffany (Keith) Jeske, and Kirsten Hughes; great grandchildren, Abby, Jena and Sadie Jeske, and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Henry (Mary) Kessler, Richard (Erma) Kessler, Gerald (Karen) Kessler, sister, Marjorie (Chester) Babcock.
A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday October 31, 2024, at Norton Shores Cemetery, where he will be interred next to his first wife, Bernice Kessler. Ed was employed by West Michigan Dock as a crane operator and built many homes in Whitehall and Norton Shores. Donation to Hospice of Michigan or charity of your choice.
