Elaine A. Kiogima's Obituary
Elaine Anne Kiogima, age 84 was born on January 15, 1935 and passed away at home on February 11, 2019. Elaine is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles Kiogima; children, Mary Kiogima, Cindy Kiogima, Scott Kiogima, Pam (Pat) Kelly; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Ring, April (Brett) Parker, Lisa Landarce, Kaylee (Travis) King, Rachel Kiogima, Shauna Kiogima, Corey Kelly; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Ring, Ethan Ring, Draven Trogden, Lucie Parker, Mavis Taylor, Baby Boy King; sisters, Louise Vermilyea, Pat (Albert) Wiegand; sisters-in-law, Jackie Vermilyea, Elizabeth Kiogima, Marian Sedlak. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a great-grandson, baby boy Parker.
Elaine was retired from Orchard View Schools. Elaine filled her life with family and friends. With family she enjoyed traveling, picnicing, celebrating holidays, and birthdays, playing cards, watching grand and great-grandchildren play sports. With friends she enjoyed monthly get togethers, attending activities with her senior group and celebrating birthdays.
Elaine attended Olivet Evangelical Free Church, 2175 Marquette Ave. in Muskegon where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Craig Cramblet officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to DeVos Children's Hospital or Olivet Evangelical Free Church General Fund.
