Elizabeth M. Bauer's Obituary
Elizabeth M. Bauer, age 76 was born on October 11, 1943 in Gladstone, Michigan to the late Julius and Eva M. (Lavigne) Reubens, and passed away on December 21, 2019. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Thomas F. Bauer; brother, Julius Reubens, and sister, Sandra Kennedy. Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Kimberly J. Bauer, and Candice M. (Steven) Gillespie; grandchildren, Brandon Ramile, Thomas M. Bauer, Kathryn Gorby, Scott Gillespie, David Gillespie, and Anthony Gillespie; great-grandchildren, Kailey Phipps, Colton Hammons, Ethan Gillespie, Vincent Gillespie, and Elaina Gillespie; siblings, Paul (Kimberly) Reubens, Kathryn (Marvin) Johnson, Carol (Steve) Belongie, Virginia (Robert) Kelly, and Mary Ann (Marvin) Chouinard. She was retired from Muskegon Monument and Stone Company. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. Elizabeth was a longtime member of Samuel Lutheran Church, (now Harbor Grace), located at 540 Houston Ave. (Corner of Eighth and W. Muskegon) where a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chris Anderson officiating. She will be interred next to her husband Thomas at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with expenses.
